The sliding wall, separating intimate part of the apartment from the residential, retracts and hides in a block paned with dark tropical wood. The living area is open through a glass wall to the view of the panorama of the city. The central position of the wall in the apartment and the direction of its shift follows take out of the Strahov ridge. The idea of the design was a jewellery box from which it is possible to perfect hand craftsmanship of coated gold foil, bringing in into an abstract space incorporated dimension of touch and astonishment.

Zlatá posuvná stěna v bytě, Praha, 2009

Posuvná stěna, oddělující intimní část bytu od obytné, se zatahuje a skrývá do bloku obloženého tmavým tropickým dřevem. Obytný prostor je prosklenou stěnou otevřen výhledu na panoráma Prahy. Centrální pozice stěny v bytě a směr jejího posunu kopíruje hranu strahovského hřebenu. Ideou řešení byla šperkovnice, ze které je možné vyjmout hmotu zlatého šperku. Spojuje od ruky formovanou ornamentální malířskou skladbu s dokonalým ručním řemeslným zpracováním pokládaného plátkového zlata, přinášející do abstraktního prostoru zakomponovanou dimenzi doteku a úžasu.
